School bags distributed among registered children in Chapainawabganj

Chapainawabganj, 17 September 2026: Food for the Hungry organized an initiative to distribute school bags among registered children at the Office of the District Commissioner, Chapainawabganj. The initiative was formally inaugurated by Mr. Abu Saleh Md. Musa Zangi, District Commissioner, Chapainawabganj.
Registered children from Atahar, Jhilim, Gobratola, and Shahjahanpur CRCs participated in the event and received school bags as educational support. During the program, the District Commissioner learned about FH’s ongoing activities and appreciated its efforts to support vulnerable children and communities through education, health, and other development interventions.
The District Commissioner highlighted that providing educational materials can help reduce the financial burden on vulnerable families and encourage children to remain in school. He also emphasized the importance of collaboration among government institutions, development organizations, schools, parents, and communities to support children’s education and help prevent school dropout.
Following the discussion, the Chief Guest formally inaugurated the distribution by handing over school bags to the registered children. The event also strengthened collaboration between Food for the Hungry and local government authorities in promoting children’s education and well-being.
