Preparatory Meeting Held for Sharadiya Durga Puja in Atpara

A preparatory meeting was held under the initiative of the Atpara Upazila administration in Netrokona regarding the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja. The meeting took place on Thursday (October 8) at 11:00 AM in the Upazila Parishad conference room. Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Ashraful Kabir presided over the meeting.
Attendees included Upazila BNP President Alhaj Masum Chowdhury, General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Rafiq, former Acting Principal of Teligati Government College Azizul Haque Chandan, Atpara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Zubaidul Alam, Upazila Press Club Vice-President Amir Khasru Swapan, and journalist Habibul Islam, alongside presidents and general secretaries of various Puja mandaps and other concerned individuals.
Discussions were held on various matters to ensure the upcoming Durga Puja is celebrated in a peaceful, safe, and festive atmosphere. Views were also exchanged regarding the security of the Puja mandaps, the law and order situation, and the responsibilities of the concerned parties.
The meeting emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among the Upazila administration, law enforcement agencies, the Puja celebration committee, and local dignitaries. Leaders of political, social, and cultural organizations, as well as media personnel, were present at the event.
