State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yaser Khan Chowdhury has expressed his firm commitment to transform Nandale Upazila and Municipality into a modern model city. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a staff rally organized by the Nandail Municipal BNP on the local Samurtta Jahan Mahila College grounds on Saturday (July 11) afternoon.
The state minister said that the current government under the leadership of the prime minister is working tirelessly to implement the election promises of BNP. Extensive programs have been undertaken for the development of roads, bridges-culverts, educational institutions and religious institutions in Nandail, which will soon be visible to the locals.
Referring to the development activities of the BNP government, the state minister warned, “If anyone indulges in any illegal activities for personal gain by defaming the name of the party, strict action will be taken against them. There is no place for drug dealers, extortionists, terrorists or gamblers in Nandale. After being elected by the people, I have built an extortion-free Nandale as promised.”
