Opportunities to build a career in the green economy

In an interview given told Daily Morning Glory on Wednesday (April 15) afternoon, Rashiduzzaman Sultan Bablu, Director of the Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, called for building a career in the green economy.
He said that the active participation of youth in the renewable energy, environmentally friendly industry and green finance sectors is the demand of the hour to ensure sustainable development.
He further mentioned that there is no alternative to the green economy to develop skilled human resources to face the challenges of climate change.
He expressed hope that this sector will play a major role in the future job market. His statement has already received a positive response from the young society and has encouraged new career ideas.
Eminent economist and Rangpur Chamber of Commerce President Imdadul Hossain and other relevant experts believe that increasing such awareness will increase environmentally friendly investment in the country and create new employment opportunities.
He also expressed hope that it would play an important role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
