Mymensingh District Development Coordination Committee monthly meeting held

Mymensingh District Development Coordination Committee meeting was held on July 19 at the conference room of the district administration. The meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Md. Saifur Rahman discussed in detail the progress of the activities of various departments of Mymensingh district and their implementation.

In his speech, the Deputy Commissioner said that all government departments should work actively and in a coordinated manner to implement the government’s priority programs. At the same time, he called for the “Clean Mymensingh” campaign to be conducted by involving all government departments, educational institutions and various social and youth organizations in the district in order to transform cleanliness into a social movement.

He made a special appeal to the City Corporation and said that the existing committees, including the Dengue Prevention Committee, should be actively involved in the cleanliness activities and work in a coordinated manner every Saturday. He called upon teachers, students, government officials and employees and all stakeholders of the society to work together to build a clean Mymensingh. Officials from various government departments were present at the monthly meeting of the District Development Coordination Committee.
