It is possible to ensure prompt service to patients, supply of high-quality medicines, modernize the emergency department and ensure the most correct use of existing medical equipment and technology in the hospital. On the night of February 13, 2026, Sabbir Hossain (30), an integrated Ansar member, was seriously injured in a road accident in front of the Naval Academy. After his right hand was seriously injured in the accident, he was immediately sent to Pangu Hospital (NITOR) for advanced treatment. The medical wing of the force’s headquarters has maintained round-the-clock supervision to ensure the health of the Ansar member.
In particular, the army’s experienced doctor, Major Dr. Saiduzzaman, has been regularly checking on his treatment with great sincerity and closely monitoring the treatment process. Due to this uninterrupted service and proper treatment, Sabbir Hossain’s physical condition has improved significantly and he is gradually regaining his physical strength. The good treatment by highly trained army doctors has created enthusiasm and deep confidence among the officers, employees and members of the force at all levels. As a result, the morale and concentration of the members towards work has increased manifold, which is playing a positive role in the overall progress of the force.
In addition, to ensure the health care of the members of the force, in addition to the supply of quality medicines to the force, the quality of medical services at the force’s own medical institution, Ansar and VDP Hospital, located at the Ansar and VDP Academy, has also been significantly improved. Meanwhile, DPP activities are underway to upgrade the said hospital from 100 beds to 250 beds. This unique modernization of healthcare in the force’s headquarters and academy area has essentially created an integrated and sustainable health protection zone.
The force believes that the good health of its members is the strength of the force. Keeping this commitment, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force is continuously working for the welfare of its members by providing modern medical services, advanced medical equipment and quality medicines. This activity will continue in the future to further expand the scope of healthcare, add advanced medical equipment and ensure the supply of quality medicines.
