Members of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force rescued six-year-old child Md. Leduan, who was missing from Panchagarh Modern Sadar Hospital after a search operation that lasted for about three hours, and returned him to his mother. The child’s mother became emotional after getting her child back. An emotional atmosphere was created throughout the hospital at that time.

On Sunday (September 6), at around 12 noon, Ansar member PC Md. Ataur Rahman and Ansar member Sukumar were on duty in front of the main gate of Panchagarh Modern Sadar Hospital. At that time, due to carelessness, six-year-old child Md. Leduan went missing from the hospital premises. When the matter came to light, anxiety and concern spread throughout the hospital.

Immediately, the Ansar members in charge started a search operation in the entire hospital area to rescue the child. After about three hours of relentless search and activity, the Ansar members were able to rescue the child. Later, after the necessary verification in the presence of the hospital authorities, the child was handed over to his mother. Tears of joy fell in the mother’s eyes after getting her lost child back. She expressed her gratitude to the Ansar members.

The patients, relatives of the patient and visitors present at the time also became emotional. The concerned people including the civil surgeon and the hospital supervisor praised and thanked the Ansar members for safely rescuing the child and returning him to his mother.

Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force members have been playing a humanitarian and responsible role by standing by the people in danger, while maintaining law and order and security in the country’s government hospitals at all times.
