Special guests present included Professor Hamed Hasan (Supervisor, Naikhongchari Upazila Jamaat), Rafiq Bashari (Vice President, Chattogram South District Sramik Kalyan Federation), Rafiq Ahmed (President, Naikhongchhari Labor Wing), Master Abdul Gafur (Ameer, Naikhongchari Sadar Jamaat), Selim Uddin (Ameer, Baishari Sadar Jamaat), Nurul Absar (Former President, Bandarban District Shibir), and Nur Sadek (President, Naikhongchari Upazila Chhatra Shibir). Leaders and activists from both the Upazila and Union levels were also present at the gathering. During the event, District Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer S.M. Abduch Salam Azad announced the names of Abdul Mannan for Upazila Chairman, Advocate Kamrul Amin for Vice Chairman, and Umme Salma for Female Vice Chairman.

Additionally, the names of prospective candidates for the Union Parishad elections were announced as follows: Md. Hamidul Haque for Ghumdhum Union, Nurul Aziz for Dochhari Union, Upazila Ameer Md. Abu Naser for Naikhongchari Sadar Union, and Maulana Rafiq Bashari for Baishari Union. However, no prospective candidate was announced for Sonaichhari Union. Party leaders and activists were urged to begin organizational work immediately in support of the prospective candidates announced at the gathering. Simultaneously, instructions were issued regarding increasing engagement with the general public, further strengthening the organization at the grassroots level, and maintaining discipline in election-related activities.

Speaking as the chief guest, S.M. Abduch Salam Azad stated that anything contrary to Islam constitutes *Taghut* (idolatry or rebellion against God), noting that Jamaat-e-Islami’s ideology is rooted in the Quran and Sunnah. He remarked that various *fatwas* (religious rulings) and propaganda campaigns are being directed against Jamaat-e-Islami to create confusion. He further observed that the party is currently facing a higher volume of critical statements and *fatwas* compared to the time when it was in the opposition. He called upon leaders and activists not to be misled by these issues but to conduct their ideological and organizational activities in light of the Quran and Sunnah.

With the local government elections approaching, the gathering emphasized the need for party leaders and activists to work unitedly and—alongside the announced prospective candidates—strengthen ties with the general public. The gathering of party officials concluded with closing remarks delivered by the Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Amir, Md. Abu Naser, who presided over the event.
