An army soldier lay bleeding beside the railway tracks.
He had sustained a severe head injury, and his right leg was broken and dangling.
At that very moment, Ansar member Shahabul, from the airport Ansar force, stepped forward like an angel to help.

The incident took place on the evening of Thursday, September 24, in front of the proposed SRB headquarters near the Dhaka Airport railway station.
The dutiful Shahabul immediately went to the injured soldier and, after introducing himself, asked for the soldier’s identity; the injured man explained that he had met with a train accident while traveling to join his duty station at the SRB Headquarters after completing his training in Gazipur.
Assessing the situation, Ansar Shahabul promptly took the soldier’s bag and mobile phone into his own custody.
With the help of locals, he was rescued and initially taken to the SRB gate. Thanks to the prompt action of the personnel on duty there, an ambulance was quickly arranged. The injured army member was sent to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka.
At the request of the SRB personnel—and in the spirit of humanity—Shahabul himself rushed to the CMH in the ambulance. He played a leading role in facilitating the necessary procedures for initial treatment and hospital admission.
Finally, when the injured soldier’s family arrived at the hospital that night, Ansar Shahabul handed over the soldier and all his belongings intact; he then breathed a sigh of relief and set off for his workplace. The family members expressed deep gratitude to Ansar Shahabul for his responsible and humane conduct.
