Human chain protesting nationwide rape and murder, including Ramisa in Netrakona

A human chain has been formed to protest the rape and murder of all children nationwide, including Ramisa. The human chain of the Udichi artist group was held on the road in front of the central Shaheed Minar in the municipal city at 11 am on Saturday.

District Udichi President Md. Mostafizur Rahman Khan presided over the meeting and General Secretary Md. Moderated by Alamgir Hasan, senior journalist Shyamlendu Pal, former president of District Udichi, freedom fighter Mozammel Haque, folk researcher Ali Ahmed Khan Ayub, essayist Professor Haradhan Saha, Prothom Alo district Correspondent Pallab Chakraborty, cultural activist Masudur Rahman Khan, general secretary of District Women’s Violence Prevention Committee Alpana Begum, manager of Nari Pragati Sangha Mrinal Chakraborty, sculptor Akhil Pal, member of District Mahila Parishad Fahmida Tota, dance teacher Tama Roy, former president of District Jubo Union Joy Kumar Dey, university student Aritroniva Dey and others spoke.

The speakers in the human chain urged the government to bring all child rapists and murderers committed across the country under the law and ensure their speedy exemplary punishment.
