Professor Dr. Md. Nazmus Sadat, Vice Chancellor of Gopalganj University of Science and Technology, extended his heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his swearing-in as the 23rd President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on behalf of the university family. In a congratulatory message on Friday (August 21) night, the Vice Chancellor said that the inauguration of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to the highest constitutional post of the state has initiated an important chapter in the democratic and constitutional journey of Bangladesh.

He expressed hope that his long political life, commitment to the country and the people, experience, wisdom and foresight will play a special role in fulfilling this important responsibility of the state. The Vice Chancellor said that His Excellency the President is also the Chancellor of Gopalganj University of Science and Technology.

We believe that his guardian-like leadership, guidance and patronage will open new horizons in the quality improvement of higher education, expansion of research, innovation, technology-based education and development of skilled and patriotic human resources of the university.

He further said, “The wise leadership and cooperation of His Excellency the President will inspire us on the path of our determination to transform Gopalganj Science and Technology University into a modern university of international standard through knowledge, research and innovation.”

Under his patronage, the educational and research environment of the university will be further enriched and the contribution of this university to national development will be further strengthened.
