Gopalganj District Police Master Parade, Welfare Meeting, and Crime Review Meeting Held

The Gopalganj District Police organized a Master Parade, a welfare meeting, a monthly crime review meeting, and a farewell reception for transferred personnel. On Thursday (September 17), the Master Parade was held in a disciplined and dignified atmosphere at the Gopalganj District Police Lines, organized by the Gopalganj District Police with the aim of enhancing the physical fitness, discipline, and professional skills of police personnel.

District Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Habibullah received the salute and inspected the parade. During the inspection, he expressed satisfaction with the physical fitness, turnout, and overall discipline of the officers and force members present, and provided directives to remain more attentive in the discharge of their duties. Subsequently, while addressing the officers and force members, he emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline, adhering to dress codes, being health-conscious, maintaining cleanliness, behaving cordially with the public, and performing duties with professionalism.

At the same time, he provided necessary guidelines regarding the dos and don’ts for upholding the image of the Bangladesh Police. Assistant Superintendent of Police (Probationary) Roni Howlader served as the Parade Commander. Additionally, a welfare meeting, a monthly crime review meeting, and a farewell reception for transferred personnel were held. Several police officers and members received special commendations for their responsible roles, professionalism, and dedication in maintaining a stable law and order situation. Commemorative awards were presented to officers of various ranks in recognition of their praiseworthy contributions and courageous, astute actions in specific areas.

Awards were given for the recovery of narcotics, the arrest of accused individuals in robbery and murder cases, the disposal of arrest warrants and prosecution cases, the execution of warrants, and the proper execution of official duties. Furthermore, the Superintendent of Police inspected the Police Lines facilities, including the ration store, and issued directives to ensure the supply of the best quality ration materials for police personnel. Towards the conclusion of the welfare meeting, a farewell reception was held for Assistant Superintendent of Police (Probationary) Roni Howlader, who is leaving due to a transfer. At the farewell, the Superintendent of Police, on behalf of the Gopalganj District Police, presented a commemorative gift to the departing officer and wished him continued success in the future.

Also present on the occasion were Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration & Finance) Mohammad Kazi Humayun Rashid, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Sakhawat Hossain Sentu, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Nafisur Rahman, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Muksudpur Circle) Md. Hasanur Rahman, and Assistant Superintendent of Police (Crime & Ops), alongside Officers-in-Charge of all police stations in the district, in-charges of police outposts and camps, and other members of the district police.
