The District Chhatra Dal organized a grand rally in Rupganj, Narayanganj, to mark the second anniversary of the historic mass uprising of July-August.
The rally took place on Monday morning in the Bhulta-Gausia area of the upazila, led by Masudur Rahman, Vice-President of the Narayanganj District Chhatra Dal.
From the morning, the presence of various levels of leaders and activists from the district and upazila units of Chhatra Dal began to increase in the Bhulta-Gausia area in connection with the rally.
Later, a colorful rally was brought out with the participation of a large number of leaders and activists.
The rally started at Balaikha in the Bhulta-Gausia area of the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway and concluded in the Saoghat area.
Masudur Rahman, Vice-President of the Narayanganj District Chhatra Dal, led the rally. Embracing the spirit of the July-August mass uprising, the participating leaders and activists pledged to work unitedly to establish democracy, voting rights, and the fundamental rights of the people.
In a brief address following the rally, Masudur Rahman said, “The historic mass uprising of July-August marks a significant chapter in the history of the nation’s struggle for rights. Upholding the spirit of this uprising, Chhatra Dal is working unitedly to establish democracy, voting rights, and the rights of the people.”
In addition to leaders and activists from various levels of the Narayanganj District Chhatra Dal, Chhatra Dal members from various unions and wards of Rupganj, along with a large number of supporters, participated in the rally.
