A discussion meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office focusing on the development of the tourism industry in Mymensingh district and the overall development of Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Park.
The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Md. Saifur Rahman, was attended by Mymensingh Sadar-4 MP Abu Wahab Akand Wahid, MCC Administrator Md. Rukunuzzaman Rokon, Police Superintendent Kamrul Hasan, Metropolitan BNP Joint Convener Professor Sheikh Amjad Ali, officials of various departments and important people at various levels.
The speakers emphasized on making Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Park, one of the main entertainment centers of the city, more attractive and tourism-friendly. They also emphasized on taking integrated plans and effective initiatives to advance the tourism sector of the district.
