Discussion meeting held at Chakaria Press Club to commemorate July Uprising Day

The Chakaria Press Club has observed the second anniversary of the fall and flight of the fascist Sheikh Hasina government through the mass uprising on July 36. On this occasion, a commemorative discussion meeting and prayer meeting was held at the initiative of the Chakaria Press Club. The discussion meeting held at the Dhansiri Auditorium, a prestigious restaurant in Chakaria Municipality at 8 pm on Wednesday (August 5) was presided over by the President of the Chakaria Press Club, M. Ali Hossain.
The program was moderated by the General Secretary of the club, Shahjalal Shahed, and the Finance Secretary of the Press Club, Muhammad Nazrul Islam Khokon, recited the Holy Quran at the beginning of the program. Chakaria Press Club Senior Vice President Monir Ahmed, Vice President Shahriar Mahmud Riyad, Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Representative July Fighter Mubarak Hossain Jihan, Chakaria Municipal Chhatra Dal President July Fighter Saimul Hasan Jamshed, and former student leader July Fighter Muhammad Sayed Hasan spoke at the event.
The speakers remembered the martyrs of the July Uprising with deep respect and said that everyone must remain united to maintain this victory achieved through the sacrifices of the students and the public. Journalist leaders and July fighters called on everyone to forget their differences and work together to establish democracy and human rights, regardless of party affiliation, by embracing July.
At that time, Chakaria Press Club Joint Secretary Arfan Chowdhury, Joint Secretary Belal Uddin, Office Secretary Mohammad Riduyanul Haque, Publicity Secretary Arafat Sunny, member Sudhir Chandra Das, and journalists working in various media and prominent figures were present. Later, after the discussion, club member Maulana Muhammad Baki Billah led a special prayer for the well-being of the country and the nation, the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs of the July Uprising, and the physical recovery of the injured.
