Coordination Meeting Held in Koyra

A coordination meeting was held in Koyra to strengthen communication between beneficiaries and local stakeholders and improve access to services. it was held on Tuesday(22 September) at the Maharajpur Union Parishad auditorium. organised by Caritas Bangladesh and Access Bangladesh with support from CBM Global. Maharajpur Union Parishad Panel Chairman Md. Yusuf Ali chaired the meeting, moderated by project Field Officer Hasibul Islam Tutul. Government and non-government representatives, local elected officials, entrepreneurs with disabilities and beneficiaries attended.
Speakers highlighted the importance of coordination among government agencies, local representatives and development organisations to improve access to services and livelihood opportunities, particularly for persons with disabilities and disadvantaged communities. Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officer Md. Faruk Hossain said beneficiaries could become more self-reliant through agriculture, employment and income-generating activities suited to their needs and capabilities.
Project Technical Coordinator Md. Firoz Al Mamun said the project aimed not only to provide assistance but also to build beneficiaries’ long-term capacity through regular engagement with local stakeholders. Participants discussed challenges and opportunities related to employment, livelihoods and access to government and non-government services, and called for stronger coordination among stakeholders.
