Celebrating World Environment Day in Netrakona

Climate Change: Today’s Action, Tomorrow’s Security theme, World Environment Day was celebrated on Thursday at 10.30 am in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner. The program included, discussion meeting, sapling distribution, painting, essay competition, prize distribution. The district administration and environment department organized this.
Under the chairmanship of Additional District Commissioner Ahiduzzaman spoke, District Commissioner Khandaker Mushfiqur Rahman, Superintendent of Police Md. Tariqul Islam, Deputy Director of Local Government Md. Ariful Islam Sardar, District Environment Officer Md. Abdulah Al Matin and other young students of various schools were present.
The speakers said that everyone should be aware of protecting the balance of the environment. The new generation should also be aware. A coordinated social movement should be built on this.
