C4R Project Closing and Handover Ceremony Held in Koyra

Koyra Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Abdullah Al Baki attended the programme as the chief guest. FIA Executive Director Nripen Baidya chaired the event, while FIA Bangladesh Programme Coordinator Timon Baroi delivered the welcome address. Through the project, various forms of support and opportunities were provided to mobilise communities, raise awareness about women’s and children’s rights, encourage livelihood and income-generating activities, develop local leadership, promote collective initiatives to address social problems, and strengthen community-based institutions.
The project also contributed to positive changes among its members in terms of responsibility, leadership capacity, mutual cooperation, participation in decision-making and future planning. Officials from government and non-government organisations, representatives of various agencies and donor organisations, and project staff attended the programme.
During the closing and handover ceremony, participants discussed mutual cooperation and shared experiences from the project’s activities. Representatives involved at different levels of the project also took part in the discussion.
