An exchange and discussion meeting took place between local residents and Mohammad Rajib Hossain, a candidate for the post of chairman in the upcoming election for the No. 11 Bhorpasha Union Parishad.

The meeting was organized on Friday (September 18) around 8 PM at the residence of Amjad Ali Howladar in Bhorpasha Union. Local dignitaries, people from various walks of life, the youth, and first-time voters attended the event.

During the meeting, locals shared their views and expectations regarding various issues, including local development, public services, and the creation of a society free from drugs and crime.

Discussions were also held regarding the chairman candidate’s plans for the upcoming election. Chairman candidate Mohammad Rajib Hossain stated that, if elected, he would work to transform Bhorpasha Union into a modern and “smart” union.

He emphasized the importance of developing the union’s roads (both paved and unpaved), expanding the scope of public services, and delivering services directly to the doorsteps of the marginalized.

He further added that effective measures would be taken to resolve various local problems, alongside social initiatives aimed at keeping the youth away from drugs and crime. Speakers at the meeting voiced their expectations regarding the development of Bhorpasha Union, the provision of civic services, and the resolution of local issues.

Organizers stated that the meeting was arranged to gather opinions and suggestions from local residents and to inform them about the election plans. People from various backgrounds, including local men and women, participated in the meeting.
