About 1200 leaders and activists join BNP in Gopalganj

About 1200 leaders and activists of Awami League have joined BNP in Gopalganj Sadar Upazila. On Wednesday (June 3) afternoon, they joined BNP by presenting flowers to Gopalganj-2 constituency MP Dr. KM Babar in Jangal Bazar area of Nijra Union in Gopalganj Sadar Upazila. Nijra Madhyapara residents, Awami leaders and strong contenders in the last Union Parishad elections, Chanowar Hossain Molla and Nur Islam Sheikh, Ulpur UP Chairman Md. Kamrul Hasan Babul and many others joined BNP.
At the time, Gopalganj-2 constituency MP Dr. KM Babar said that BNP is playing an important role in fulfilling the expectations of the people in the current political reality. We welcome experienced and popular people from different political parties to join BNP. The two new leaders who joined BNP said that they have decided to join BNP politics for the development of the area, establishment of democratic values and realization of people’s rights. They expressed their firm determination to work actively in implementing the ideology and programs of the BNP party.
Gopalganj Sadar Upazila BNP President Sikder Shahidul Islam Lenin, General Secretary Fazlul Kabir Dara, Municipal BNP President Sheikh Hasibur Rahman Hasib, BNP leaders SM Ziaul Kabir Biplob, Sajjad Hossain Hira, Jubo Dal leader Rajib Biswas, Chhatra Dal leaders Saiful Islam, Imrul Mia and a large number of leaders and activists of BNP and allied organizations were present at the BNP joining ceremony. Local people from different classes and professions also participated in the BNP joining ceremony.
