Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) The current MP in the 300th Bandarban seat of the parliament has been finalized as the Awami League candidate in the 12th Parliament Election.A special extended meeting of District Awami League was held at Arun Sarki Town Hall in Bandarban on Saturday (May 27).In this meeting,District Awami League president Kyaw Shwe Hla Proposed the name of Member of Parliament Bir Bahadur as the single candidate of party and this decision was approved by unanimous consent. Bandarban District Awami League General Secretary Laxmi Pada Das confirmed the matter.Mr.Laxmi told The Daily Morning Glory that,in the extended meeting,Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) has been finalized as the single candidate of Bandarban District Awami League.In the same meeting,the leaders and activists were given directions keeping in mind the organizational activities and elections. In Bandarban Without Bir Bahadur has no choice in realizing Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s dream of building a smart Bangladesh.At the same time,this special extended meeting was held with the firm conviction to strengthen the hands of the Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) to continue the progress of development in Bandarban.Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh, Minister of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs was present as the chief guest in the meeting held at Arun Saraki Town Hall. District Awami League President Kyaw Shwe Hla Hla presided over the event.Incidentally, Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) A popular leader of Hill Tracts was elected MP from Awami League for 6 consecutive times in Bandarban 300 seat.He is currently serving as Minister of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry.
