In Gobindganj of Gaibandha, a paddy threshing machine took the life of a child. The parts of the paddy threshing machine came loose and fell on the body of the child, named Tabassum Chowya, and he died. In this incident, the family of the deceased has fallen in mourning.

This incident took place in Bargaon village of Kamdia Union of Upazila on Friday morning.

The deceased Tabassum Choya is the daughter of Saiduzzaman of that village.

Eyewitness villagers said that since Friday morning, Saiduzzaman Mia had installed a rice threshing machine in his yard and was threshing it. At that time, Tabassum Choya, a child, was standing by and watching the threshing work. Suddenly, a threshing machine purse opened with a loud noise and hit Tabassum. He was seriously injured and died before he could be taken to the hospital.
