Farmer field day for cultivation of zinc-rich Bri Bangabandhu rice 100 was held in Kishoreganj of Nilphamari. On Wednesday morning, the field day was held in North Durakuti Khamaltari village by the organization of World Vision Bangladesh Kishoreganj AP, a development cooperative organization dedicated to the service of self-humanity and with the cooperation of Upazila Agriculture Extension Directorate. It was attended by,  Upazila Additional Agriculture Officer Tushar Kanti Roy, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Nasima Begum, Program Officer Swapan Kispotta, Paddy Cultivator Belal Hossain, Nuruzzaman, Abdul Majid, etc.  And tasty, with added zinc. Many people can’t buy nutritious food. But everyone eats 3 meals of rice.  Bangladesh Rice Research Institute has developed a new variety of zinc-rich Bangabandhu rice 100 in the Mujib year to meet the zinc deficiency of the people through rice. The organization is supporting farmers with free seeds and fertilizers to fill the zinc deficiency of marginalized people in the field.  He thinks that the rate of birth of disabled children is decreasing due to zinc deficiency of pregnant mothers. In the future, this will play a big role in achieving the target of rice cultivation.
