Shah Tanzim (16), a student died due to electrocution in Chatpara village of Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district. The accident happened yesterday around noon on Thursday.

The deceased Tanzim is the son of Shah Iqbal Mia of that village. He was a 9th standard student of Chatpara Ideal Academy.

It is known that the work of installing a deep tube well was going on in a mosque next to the house of the Tanjims. He died on the spot due to electrocution in the water pump installed there. After recovering the body, preparations are underway to send it to Habiganj 250-bed District Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
