The main accused in the Kulaura Usman murder case was arrested

Police recovered an unidentified dead body from Amuli Panpunji of Karmadha Union of Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar. Later, in the presence of the locals, the police identified the body and prepared a condition report and sent the body to Moulvibazar morgue for post-mortem. The deceased is Usman Ali (53), son of Haidar Ali of Nuna Tilabari village of Karmadha Union.
After the body was recovered, the police initially believed that Usman had been killed by a heavy blow. From such an idea, the police entered the field to uncover the main mystery of the incident.

According to Usman’s family, Usman Ali was missing all day on April 16. After the recovery of Usman’s dead body on the night of April 16, Rozina Begum, the wife of the deceased, lodged a complaint at the Kulaura police station on April 17. Bulaura Thana Police took the murder case based on the statement filed. Case No-19, Date: 17/04/2023, Section-302/34 Penal Code.

On April 30, under the leadership of Kulaura police station officer-in-charge Md. Abduch Chalek, SI Anwar Hossain, ASI Nuru Mia, ASI Ariful Islam-2 conducted a raid and arrested Sabuj (35), the main accused in the Usman murder case, from Gazipur tea garden in Kulaura upazila. . Son of Abul Hossain of Rangichhara village of Sabuj upazila.

According to the Kulaura police station, on the night of April 16, the police recovered an unidentified dead body from the bushes under the Joom Hill of Alauddin Gong of Amuli Pan Punji, Ward No. 9 under the Karmadha Union of the upazila. SI Anwar Hossain of Kulaura police station identified the dead body in the presence of locals and prepared a condition report and sent it to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.
