Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Said,Today in Chittagong Hill Tracts,pigeons of peace are flying everywhere.With the contribution of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, all the small ethnic groups of the hills are in peace today.Hilly and Bengalis are all living in harmony.Minister Bir Bahadur MP said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the discussion meeting organized on the occasion of Chak Conference in Naikhongchari of Bandarban.
He said,the Chak community of the highlands has progressed far in all fields. Through this first Chak Conference, the Chaks proved how much they are organized and socially living beautifully.The Chak Conference was held on Friday (April 28) at the Chalk Hedman Para Government Primary School grounds.Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md Saiful Islam, Hill District Council member Mozammel Haque Bahadur,Kanchan Joy Tangchangya and others were present in the event.The first Chalk Conference was held Organised By The Chalk Welfare Association.The conference was presided over by Hill District Council member Kanu Wan Chak.
On this day,Minister Bir Bahadur laid the foundation stone for various development works.It will cost 3 crore 85 lakh Tk.Hill Chittagong Development Board is implementing the development work.
