Under the initiative of Ramu Upazila Agriculture Extension Department, the free seed and fertilizer distribution program has been completed among the farmers. Upazila Agriculture Officer Agronomist Tanzila Rahman presided over the ceremony held yesterday. Assistant Agriculture Officer Mohammad Zakaria conducted. Ramu Upazila Parishad Chairman Sohel Sarwar Kajal was present as the chief guest. Upazila Vice Chairman Salahuddin, Fatekhankul Union Parishad Chairman Sirajul Islam Bhuttu, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Babu Sushant Debnath Shubo, Assistant Agriculture Officers in charge of 11 unions were present. On the said occasion, free Aush seeds and fertilizers were distributed among 500 farmers of 11 Unions of Ramu Upazila. Every farmer gets 5 kg of Ufsi Aws paddy seeds, 10 kg of MOP and 10 kg of DAP fertilizer free of charge.
