Seven MoUs signed between Dhaka and New Delhi

During Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India, seven MoUs were signed between Dhaka and New Delhi.
The MoUs were signed on Tuesday (September 6) afternoon.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended a warm welcome to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Rashtrapati Bhavan in India. He was given a formal reception, a red carpet reception and a guard of honor there on Tuesday morning.
Expressing his feelings about the visit to India at that time, the Prime Minister said, India is our friend. Whenever we come to India, it is a great joy for us, especially for me.
He also said, we have mutual friendly relations. Our main objective is to improve people’s quality of life, poverty eradication and economic prosperity. I think the two countries can work together on these issues. This will not only improve the quality of life of Bangladesh-India, but also of South Asia – that is our goal.
Prime Minister paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat Gandhi Mausoleum from Rashtrapati Bhavan. After that, the Prime Ministers of the two countries sat in a meeting.
Besides, Sheikh Hasina has a courtesy meeting with India’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhangarh and then the country’s first woman president Draupadi Murmu in the afternoon.

4/ Memorandum of understanding for training of Bangladesh Railway officials in India,
5/ Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Railways of Bangladesh and India,
6/ MoU between Bangladesh Television and Prasar Bharti,
7/ Memorandum of understanding in space technology or space technology sector.
