The body of a child named Arya Das (4) was recovered from the Kharsrota River in Kargaon Union of Nabiganj Upazila.

On Monday afternoon, local people found the body floating and informed the Nabiganj police station. A group of police reached the spot under the guidance of Nabiganj police station officer-in-charge Md. Dalim Ahmed and recovered the body.

Arya Das is the son of Anjit Das of Rampur village in Kargaon Union.

According to police and local sources, Arya Das was missing since last Friday evening. The family members filed a GD at Nabiganj police station after much searching. 3 days after Arya Das went missing, on Monday afternoon, locals saw a floating situation in the Kharasrota river near the house called Chaya Nagar. When Nabiganj police station informed the police, the police reached the spot and prepared a report and recovered the body and brought it to Nabiganj police station. Nabiganj police station officer-in-charge Md. Dalim Ahmed confirmed the truth of the incident.
