International Mother Language Day has been celebrated on the initiative of Denmark Awami League through various programs. Mahbub Zaman, the brave freedom fighter, was present as the chief guest in Copenhagen, Denmark on February 25 under the chairmanship of the Danish Awami League president Md. Sahid and moderated by the general secretary Sami Das. Member Secretary of All European Awami League Coordinating Committee Md. Ali Lincoln Mollah was the main speaker at the meeting.

Speakers discussed the significance of International Mother Language Day in the program. Speakers said, “We are proud of our mother’s language Bangla”.

Before this, a prayer mahfil was held in memory of language martyrs.
