Jahangir and SI Mahbubul Alam are the superior officers in charge of Moulvibazar

In the light of uniform criteria of award in Moulvibazar, in January 2023 Moulvibazar District Officer Incharge Md. Jahangir Hossain Sardar was selected as the best officer in charge of Moulvibazar district and Sadar Police Station SI (retd) Mahabubul Alam and Kulaura Police Station ASI Md. Ruman Mia were selected as the best SI of the district. Jamal Uddin of Sadar Court was also selected as the best Warrant Officer Tamil, Best CSI and ASI Mishu Ranjan Deb was selected as the best GRO. Sergeant Rupan Chandra Pal of Sadar Traffic Division received the special award for best performance among Sergeants and TSIs working in Traffic Division.

On the other hand, Additional Superintendent of Police of Kulaura Circle Dipankar Ghosh and Officer-in-charge of Kulaura Police Station Md. Abdus Chalek were given special honors for their overall direction and leadership in the recovery of 8 stolen motorcycles and 2 microbuses in Golapganj police station area of Sylhet district.
Apart from this, District Intelligence Branch (DB) Officer-in-Charge Md. Ashraful Islam received a special award for his satisfactory performance in the recovery of arms and drugs in Moulvibazar district and the special operation in Warrant Tamil.

Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria handed over crests and certificates of appreciation to the officer-in-charge of the police station and selected officers in various categories. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Hasan Mohammad Nasser Rikabder, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Mahmudul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Kulaura Circle) Dipankar Ghosh and officers in charge of various units and police stations of Moulvibazar district police were also present in the crime meeting.
