50 thousand rupees fine for the crime of cutting soil from agricultural land in Srimangal

A mobile court has imposed a fine of Tk 50,000 on a person for the crime of cutting paddy from agricultural land in Moulvibazar.
On Thursday (February 2) afternoon, a mobile court imposed a fine of Tk 50,000 on a soil dealer named Rubel Ahmad for the crime of extracting soil from agricultural land in Khalilpur Saitula area of Ashidron Union of Srimangal Upazila.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (ACland) and Executive Magistrate Sandhip Talukder said that a man named Rubel has been fined Tk 50,000 under the Management Act 2010 for the crime of illegally extracting soil from agricultural land. The administration will continue its campaign against those who illegally cut soil from agricultural land, cut dunes and extract sand.
