Sheikh Kamal Youth Games: Chittagong District Karate Team Champion in Divisional level

Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): Sheikh Kamal 2nd Youth Games-2023 Chittagong Divisional level karate Event Has Been concluded.On Friday (January 20) night,The closing Ceremony And prize distribution was held at the Bandarban Hillview Convention Center organized by the Bangladesh Olympic Association and managed by the Bandarban District Sports Association.

Chittagong Divisional Commissioner and Chittagong Divisional Sports Association President Dr.Aminur Rahman attended the event as the chief guest and handed over the prizes to the winners.Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban Yasmin Parvin Tibriji presided over the function.

General Secretary of Bangladesh Karate Federation and Chief Coordinator of Sheikh Kamal 2nd Youth Karate Games Karate event (Chittagong Division) Kyaw Shwe Hla were present on the occasion.

Former Vice President of Bangladesh Karate Federation Md. Shahazada Alam,Vice President of Bangladesh Karate Federation Md.Iqbal Hossain,joint secretary Of Karate Federation Noyona Chowdhury,Tulus Sams was present also on the occasion.

In this year’s divisional karate Competition Chittagong District won the highest Medal at the divisional level and Chittagong became the team champion.As a team,the karate players of Chittagong district are at the top of the table with maximum medals.

According to the organizers,Players Of Chittagong Won 4 gold,6 silver and 8 bronze medals in this day-long game. Players Of Noakhali won 4 Gold,4 Silver and 4 Bronze.
Players of Bandarban won 4 Gold,4 Silver and 3 Bronze.Players Of Cox’s Bazar Won 1 gold and 2 bronze.Players Of Comilla Won 1 gold,2 silver and 12 bronze. Players Of Feni Won 1 bronze.Players Rangamati Won 2 Gold and 1 Bronze.164 players from 8 districts participated in this divisional level competition.
