Govt creates Independent Electoral Commission: Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said, ‘The Awami League government has created a completely independent Election Commission. Awami League believes in transparent elections. He said this while participating in the discussion of the motion of thanks on the President’s speech today.
AK Abdul Momen said, ‘Bangabandhu and Awami League have always struggled for the right to vote and rice. Awami League has prepared voter list with pictures and gifted transparent ballot boxes for transparent and beautiful elections. In particular, a fully independent Election Commission has been created. Now the era of 1 crore 23 lakh fake voters of BNP is gone. Gone are the days of 10 Hondas, 20 Gundars. And there is no Aziz Marka Election Commission. This is probably why they (BNP) have so much anger in their hearts.
The foreign minister said, ‘Awami League believes in transparent elections. The strength of Awami League is the people. Our slogan is I will give my vote to whomever I want. So we don’t need to worry about it.
Seeing the development of the government, some anti-national, anti-development and anti-government self-interested people have got involved in false and fabricated campaigns and said that they want to question the government’s achievements by spreading rumours. Wants to mislead people.
Urging not to listen to rumours, he said, “All indicators of the economy are stable and strong.” These fears of the World Bank and the IMF are unfounded.
The foreign minister said, “Some groups are trying to disturb the peace and stability of the country with various issues. Stability is necessary for the well-being of the country and its people. The government will do whatever is necessary and necessary for peace and stability.’
The foreign minister also said, ‘Bangladesh will be a developed country by 2041. To achieve that goal, the Ministry of External Affairs has launched Economic Diplomacy, Public Diplomacy and Regional Peace and Stability Policy. To this end, greater trade growth to utilize the country’s property and manpower.
Muhammad Farooq Khan, Member of Parliament of the ruling party, said, “BNP is talking about a non-partisan neutral government. It is unconstitutional. They gave 27 points. They are talking about repairing the state. Those who have destroyed the state and looted it are now talking about repairing the state. It doesn’t suit them.’
