Sale of OMS rice has started for low income people in Srimangal at the rate of Tk 30 per kg.

Chairman of Srimangal Upazila Parishad Bhanulal Roy inaugurated the sale of OMS rice at the price of Tk 30 per kg at Sindurkhan road dealer Abdul Hai’s shop in Srimangal town on Thursday (September 1). Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun, Upazila Awami League President Ardhendu Kumar Deb, Upazila Food Controller Md Takdir Hossain, Tag Officer and Upazila Youth Development Officer Asim Kumar Kar were present.

This program was launched at several points including Bhanugach Road, Moulvibazar Road, Sindurkhan Road in Srimangal Town area.
