Marginalized people who got blankets became happy after receiving blankets in this bone-shaking winter. Along with that, the poor people who received blankets applauded the Bangladesh Christian Association. The month is approaching towards the end of Paush month. In the rural townships, the month of Magh literally comes with the force of winter. In fact, at the beginning of the month of Poush, winter has started to set in in various districts of the north. The severity of winter has multiplied the suffering of people. The suffering of poor people in bone-chilling winter is indescribable. Normal life is disrupted due to cold current. Due to the lack of adequate winter clothing, the suffering of poor people increases to extremes. In many places, the face of the sun is not seen until noon. Children, old people and working people with low income are suffering from the hardship of winter due to lack of warm clothes in the north-western town.

At that time, General Secretary of Bangladesh Christian Association Kushtia District Branch Reverend Pastor Zaker Ali Shuva said in a brief speech – It is the moral responsibility of the rich to stand by the poor people. Poor and destitute people, who do not have winter clothes, even a blanket to protect them from the cold, now as soon as possible help should be extended to these people. Along with the government, the rich people of the country should also come forward at this time.
