District police welcome 66 brave freedom fighters in Chapainawabganj

Chapainawabganj district police felicitated the veteran freedom fighter policemen working in the district police and retired. On Monday (December 26) at 12:30 pm, the reception was given to them at the District Police Lines Auditorium.
Superintendent of Police AHM Abdur Raqib spoke as the Chief Guest, Zilla Parishad Chairman and District Community Policing President Brave Freedom Fighter Alhaj Md. Ruhul Amin.
Additional Superintendent of Police Shamsul Azam also spoke. Retired Assistant Superintendent of Police Hemayet Ali and retired Police Constable Abdul Hakim spoke from among the brave freedom fighters. In the event, the brave freedom fighters commemorated their bravery in the war.
The program was conducted by Additional Superintendent of Police (Nawabganj Circle) Atwar Rahman. Officer-in-charge of Sadar Model Police Station AKM Alamgir Jahan, Officer-in-charge of District Intelligence Branch Babul Uddin Sardar, DIO-1 SM Zakaria and others were present on the occasion.
Highlighting the heroism of the police force in the Great War of Liberation, Superintendent of Police AHM Abdur Rakib said that the police force formed the first armed resistance in the Great War of Liberation. I feel proud to honor you in the month of Victory Day.
At the beginning of the ceremony, 66 brave freedom fighters were welcomed with flowers and gifts were given at the end. Besides, midday lunch is organized for the best children of the nation.
