BGB Day was celebrated by BGB Srimangal Sector and Srimangal Battalion through various programs at Moulvibazar’s Srimangal.
On Tuesday (December 20) at two o’clock at Srimangal, the day was celebrated through various programs including freedom fighter honours, discussions, sports, cultural programs and banquets organized by BGB Srimangal Sector and Srimangal Battalion.

Border Guard Bangladesh Srimangal Sector Sector Commander Colonel AHM Yasin Chowdhury inaugurated this program in BGB Srimangal sector. Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan, Divisional Forest Officer Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, BGB battalion captains and officials of various ranks of the administration were present at this time. Besides, Srimangal Sector Commander highlighted the contribution of BGB in border security and the country’s liberation war. Later, the honor was given to freedom fighters and freedom fighters’ families. On the occasion of the day, interesting cultural programs were organized in the afternoon.
