Salim Mia (26), a clay worker died at Haritla on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway of Bahubal upazila. He was an excavator driver.

He met with an accident while digging soil with an excavator on the side of the road on Monday evening. Later local people rescued him and brought him to Habiganj Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Sadar Thana police prepared the body condition report and sent it to the morgue. However, SI Mujibur Rahman said that the investigation into the death is going on. He is the son of Rafiq Mia of Haritala village.
