Zaker ALi Shuva: Advocacy meeting and press briefing was held at Kumarkhali in Kushtia on the occasion of Family Welfare Service and Promotion Week from 17-22 December with the theme ‘Family planning system will improve child and maternal health’. Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Bitan Kumar Mondal was the chief guest.

The meeting was held at the upazila parishad auditorium on Wednesday (December 14) at 10 am organized by the upazila family planning office. Family planning officer Abul Basar Mohammad Abdul Muttalib spoke in the meeting held in the chair of freedom fighters, public representatives, journalists and teachers.

In the meeting, the family welfare services and campaign week were discussed in detail. The meeting was attended by medical officers, officials, employees, journalists and NGO representatives of the family planning department.
