112 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bangladesh Police have been transferred.

The transfer was made in three separate notifications issued by the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday. Deputy Secretary Dhananjay Kumar Das signed the notification by order of the President.

Earlier on August 3, in a notification issued by the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, 40 officers of the Bangladesh Police were appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) in 40 districts of the country.
