Srimangale Ask Foundation’s World Human Rights Day Celebration

In Srimangal Upazila of Moulvibazar district, various programs were organized by the Srimangal Upazila Branch of the International Human Rights Organization Law Support Center (ASAK) Foundation, which strives to implement the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, keeping the slogan “Let the world live in peace in a beautiful world”.
Today Saturday (December 10th) morning, Srimangal circled the important roads of the city to celebrate the World Human Rights Day from Choumuhna Chattar.
Srimangal Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mitun was present as the chief guest in the rally, Srimangal Press Club President Biswajyoti Chowdhury inaugurated the rally. Srimangal Press Club General Secretary Mohammad Imam Hossain Sohail, OC Operations Fazlul, Press Club Vice President Kausar Iqbal, Senior Journalist Ismail Mahmud, Srimangal Upazila Press Club General Secretary Bikul Chakraborty, journalists were present as special guests.
Besides, journalist, writer Ataur Rahman Kajal, president and general secretary of the organization and many others were present.
Responsible leaders of various levels of the organization were present in the event. The 74th World Human Rights Day is being celebrated today with the theme “Dignity, Freedom and Justice for All”. Various human rights organizations of the country observe the day through various programs including human bonds, discussion meetings. In continuation of that, the rally and discussion meeting of Srimangal Upazila Branch of the International Human Rights Organization Legal Aid Center (ASAK) Foundation approved by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was held.
Note that on this day in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. Later in 1950, 10 December was declared as World Human Rights Day by the United Nations.
