Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Commented that hill students have progressed more than before in the field of education. He said, “With the sincerity of the present government,All the neglected people in the remote areas of the mountains are now getting the touch of education.”

Friday (25 November) Minister Bir Bahadur said these things while addressing the chief guest at the first reunion and cultural function of Mro Residential High School on its 42nd anniversary.At the time,The minister Also said, ‘Today there is no difference between the hills and Bengalis. Everyone is in harmony here.This relationship of sincerity is much stronger than before.

On the occasion of the glorious 42nd anniversary of Mro Residential High School, a book titled “Maitong” (Torch) commemorating the 1st reunion of former students 1980-2022 was unveiled.

Same day,Minister Bir Bahadur inaugurated the construction of the hostel building of Mro Residential School at a cost of 1 crore, technical building at a cost of 99 lakhs and hall room at a cost of 40 lakhs.Besides, Minister Bir Bahadur inaugurated the border wall gate and field development work at a cost of Tk 40 lakh.Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board’s Bandarban Unit is implementing the development works.
