Community Action Meeting of Active Citizens Group held at Srimangal

A community action meeting was held at Srimangal, Moulvibazar organized by Active Citizens Group (ACG) and in collaboration with Conscious Citizens Committee (SANAK) TIB Srimangal.

It was held at Bhurbhuriya Tea Garden of Srimangal Upazila on Thursday (November 17) at 4 pm.

Ehsan bin Muzahir, a member of Active Citizens Group (ACG-Health), journalist Ehsan Bin Muzahir gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the meeting under the chairmanship of Transparency International Bangladesh’s Srimangal area coordinator Parvez Koiri and Sanak Srimangal upazila branch member Parimal Singh Garhaik. Ismail Mahmud, head of Sylhet department of Dainik Desh Bangla newspaper, spoke as an honored guest in the meeting. The meeting was attended by journalist Syed Syed Ahmed, member of Conscious Citizen Committee Srimangal, journalist Ahmed Ehsan Sumon, member of TIB YES, joint convener of Active Citizens Group (ACG) (Health) Paritosh Kumar Tati, member secretary Nahid Sultana, service beneficiaries, teacher representatives, clubs, ACG. Members, representatives of backward communities and representatives of TIB were present.

In the action meeting, the participants highlighted the various advantages and disadvantages of receiving health care services at the marginal level. Harassment or delay in receiving health care at various stages. The health care sector was attended by service users, teacher representatives, clubs, ACG, journalists, women and representatives of backward communities, civil society and TIB representatives were present. . They think there is. They sought the kind attention of the authorities to have and implement adequate testing in government healthcare centers for the poor population.
