Orientation on Social Audit held at Moulvibazar

In Moulvibazar, social audit orientation was held for members of Advocacy Network Committee and Change Agents with the aim of empowering backward communities and actively participating in the development process of Bangladesh.
The orientation was held on Wednesday (November 16) at 9:30 am in the hall room of Moulvibazar National Women’s Affairs Organization in the presence of Advocacy Network Divisional Coordinator Mohammad Shahjahan Mia.
A four-member committee has been formed on Project Notification and Advocacy Network Social Audit to implement the project of empowering backward communities and actively participating in the development process of Bangladesh. A day-long advocacy network orientation on key issues was conducted with top leadership.
Conducting public hearings, presenting findings of social audits, providing refresher training to Advocacy Network members on legal rights, human rights, rights of minorities, backward communities, advocacy and welfare. Community-level safety monitoring of risk levels for Dalit and tribal women and girls is conducted in this orientation. Advocacy Network Divisional Coordinator Mohammad Shahjahan Miah and Facilitator Divisional Assistant Mainul Haque were present at this time, 21 members each from 7 upazilas and 7 change agents of Citizen Udayag.
