Dhaka/
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the footsteps of famine are being heard worldwide. Inshallah there will be no famine in Bangladesh. We have to prepare for that from now. He said in a strong voice that the country’s economy is still strong enough. Many people said, Sri Lanka will be, this will be, that will be – their mouths were filled with ashes. It didn’t happen, inshallah it won’t happen.
Awami League President said, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman said, no one can keep this Bengali in check. I also believe that no one can control chess. No matter what they (BNP-Jamaat) say, there is nothing to be confused about. We are moving forward. We will build Bangladesh as the rich and prosperous Sonar Bangla of the father of the nation’s dream.
Sheikh Hasina said these things in her speech as the chief guest at the Jubo League organized Jubo league at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Friday. He said the Russia-Ukraine war has increased the price of every commodity. So we should not be dependent. Must be self-reliant. Calling everyone, production should be increased. Not even an inch of land should remain uncultivated.
Pointing to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s educational qualification, the Prime Minister said, ‘I have not come to sing anyone’s gibbet. But if the country runs with 8 pass and matric fail, that country does not develop. It can be done if there is patriotism, if there is a sense of duty towards the people of the country. We have demonstrated that. No one can stop this progress of the country.’
Sheikh Hasina instructed the Jubo League leaders and activists to stay away from corruption, terrorism and drugs and said that every leader and activist must serve the country and the people. Go to your village, cultivate your land. It must be ensured that no land is left uncultivated so that production can be done on other’s land as well. Any crops, vegetables and plants should be planted. Terrorism, drugs and corruption must be stopped.
This Friday’s youth mass meeting organized on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the establishment of Jubo League, one of Awami League’s subsidiary organizations, turned into a sea of youth. Millions of Jubo League leaders and activists from all over the country gathered there wearing colorful T-shirts and caps. Leaders and activists from various districts and upazilas started coming to Dhaka in buses, microbuses, trucks and pickups from late night the previous day. Since the morning, along with different vehicles, the leaders and activists with banners and placards came to the rally venue. Their muhurmuhu slogans, stick games and playing of various musical instruments including band parties and vuvuzelas created a festive atmosphere. As the day progressed, the entire garden was filled to the brim with the presence of leaders and activists. Before noon, the roads and surrounding areas including Suhrawardy Udyan became public forest.
Suhrawardy Udyan was decorated with colorful balloons, banners and festoons on the occasion of the grand gathering. If you are blind even if you have eyes, if you do not see development – then there is nothing to do.
Criticizing BNP, he said, who is their leader? Khaleda Zia is the accused accused in the corruption case by embezzling orphan’s money. His replacement, Tarek Zia, is another step up. Tarek Zia is a seven-year convict in a money laundering case. Accused also convicted in 10 trucks arms smuggling case and 21 August grenade attack case. Awami League government took up to 48 billion. During the two years of corona, I gave free covid vaccination to people, made investments, bought airplanes, made Pyara port with my own financing. Thus it has to be spent from the reserve. But the house money stays in the house. I am using this money for the development of the people of the country.

By improving the roads and bridge bridges, there has been unprecedented success in the communication system across the country. 100 bridges were inaugurated simultaneously. I don’t know if anyone has done it in history? We managed to do that too. So Bangladesh can.
General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that if BNP comes to power again, it will swallow everything. Foreign debt, democracy and elections will be swallowed. If given a chance, it will swallow even Bangladesh.
Addressing the BNP, he said, there will be a game, there will be a game. Corruption, misrule, looting and BNP will be played against. Fire will also be played against terrorism, vote theft, fake voter list. get ready get ready I will answer Obaidul Quader congratulated the Jubo League for organizing a successful rally and said that the Jubo League keeps its word. Proof of that, it is not a youth gathering, but a great ocean of youth.
Aamir Hossain Amu, a member of Awami League’s advisory council and former chairman of Jubo League, urged everyone to be careful and said that there is still a conspiracy against Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina. Together, they will give a toothless reply to the conspiracy of BNP-Jamaat.
Jubo League chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash said in the president’s speech, Bangladesh was called ‘breeding ground of terrorism’ during BNP.
