Preparations for the 5-day long Katyayani Durga Puja have been completed with great enthusiasm in Gaibandha.

It has been reported that like every time, traditional religious people have organized Katyayani Durga Puja for 5 days in Palpara of Rifaitpur village of Badiyakhali Union of Gaibandha Sadar Upazila.

Milan Kumar Pal, general secretary of the organizing committee, said, “We have been celebrating this festival for a long time and this puja will start on Monday during the sixth puja.” Leelakirtan and prasad will be distributed on Wednesday, the day of Mahanavami puja.

Pratima Visarjana will be held at the end of Vijayadashami on Thursday and Mahant Vidya and Matsyaparas will be held on Friday.
