More than 20 people have been bitten by dogs in Srimangal of Moulvbazar.

On Friday afternoon, a dog bit 20 to 25 pedestrians in various areas including Mission Road, Ukilbari Rot, Kharanura Road, Station Road, Post Office Road of the city. Dog bite victims received first aid at Upazila Health Complex.

Some of the victims said that suddenly a reckless red-white mixed brown dog attacked people. After that, the dog bit and injured about 20/25 people one by one in different parts of the city. After receiving the news, Upazila Health Department and Animal Resources Department conducted a precautionary campaign in different areas of the city. Upazila Health Complex and Family Planning Officer Dr. Sajazad Hossain said, from 10 am tomorrow, the upazila health complex vaccine will be given to those affected by dog ​​bites. He advised all the affected to go to the hospital and receive the vaccine. Also asked to report the animal resource officer on sighting of the dog.
