The BSTI team raided the mosquito coil factory and filling station in Gobindganj upazila of Gaibandha. 200 cartoon mosquito coils were destroyed along with a fine of Tk 1 lakh 30 thousand.

On Wednesday (October 26), Gobindganj Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Lands) SM Abdullah-bin-Shafiq conducted the mobile court of this operation.

It is known that Farco Chemical (Brand-Farco) of Dighirhat, Gobindganj was fined Tk 1 lakh and 200 cartoon mosquito coils were destroyed for the crime of using the trademark illegally. Besides, a fine of Tk 30,000 has been imposed for the offense of paying less than 90 ml per 10 liter petrol unit at the seasonal filling station at Gobindganj on Dinajpur Road. BSTI Divisional Office Prosecutor Delwar Hossain, Field Officer (CM) Almas Mia, Inspector (Met) and others were present.
