AB Party Chairman Manju pledges to build Feni of youth’s dreams
AB Party Chairman Mojibur Rahman Manju, the 11-party unity candidate for Feni 02 constituency, has pledged to work keeping in mind the dreams and needs of the youth. He made this pledge while participating in a discussion on ‘Reform in the Thoughts of Youth’ at Feni’s Grand Sultan Convention Center on Wednesday afternoon. He answered various questions about the thoughts, responsibilities and tasks of the young organizers.
During this, he highlighted various aspects of Feni’s development and sought everyone’s cooperation to solve the problems. Manju expressed hope that the youth of Feni will play an important role in the new Bangladesh after the July coup.
Jamaat’s Central Majlis Shura Member Professor Liaquat Ali Bhuiyan, Global Youth Parliament SAARC Region Deputy Coordinator Hasan Mahmud, NCP Central Joint Member Secretary Saleh Uddin Sifat and NewsCVM.com Editor Didarul Alam Majumder spoke at the event. The welcoming speech was delivered by the convener of the organizing committee, Muhaimin Tajim.
In addition, several hundred youth who have been working in Feni for a long time participated in the exchange of views. Leaders of various political parties of the 11-party unity were also present at the event. Earlier in the morning, Mujibur Rahman Manju held a public meeting in Chhnua Union of Sadar Upazila. If elected as a member of parliament, he assured to protect the rights of the long-deprived.
Mujibur Rahman Manju said, in our country, not everyone can enjoy these five rights equally: food, clothing, education, medical care and housing. We want everyone to enjoy these five rights equally. We have to work to ensure these five things. We is determined to protect the rights of the deprived.
In a public meeting, he spoke to the common people of Chhanua Bazar, Tongirpar, Company Bazar, and Kazirdighi areas about problems and things to do. Manju said, not everyone will work, nor will they be able to. If those who will work are given responsibility, they will get the desired services.
Stating that the state has adequate arrangements, he said, the state provides houses for those who do not have a house. Rations and various foods are provided for those who do not have food. Why is the shortage not eliminated even after this? It is not eliminated mainly because of corruption.
Even when it comes to building a house, half the money is taken away. We want the state to be run through corruption-free representatives. He said, “If you vote for someone, corruption and extortion will stop, and there will be proper distribution, you will give them a chance and consider them.” We promise that we will not take away anyone’s rights, but rather we will protect the rights of those who are deprived of their rights.
During the mass meeting in Chhnua, District Jamaat Ameer Mufti Abdul Hannan, Publicity Secretary Anam Abdur Rahim, District Member Secretary of AB Party Fazlul Haque, Union Jamaat Ameer Maulana Imran, Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, and leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, AB Party and NCP were present.
